Welcome to MusoSuite. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
We collect personal information that you provide to us when you register for an account, such as your name, email address, and studio details. We also process data related to students, which may include minors.
As a platform for music education, we process data belonging to children. Under POPIA and GDPR, this requires explicit consent from a competent person (a parent or legal guardian). By registering for a Parent/Student portal account, you consent to the processing of your child's data by the respective music studio and by MusoSuite as the data processor.
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve MusoSuite, to manage user accounts, to process payments, and to communicate with you. Your data will never be sold to third parties.
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We utilize industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access. Our servers are hosted securely, and any cross-border data transfers comply with POPIA and GDPR adequacy requirements.
To resolve support requests, authorised MusoSuite support staff may temporarily view your studio's data — including a read-only “view as” mode that shows the app as you see it. Every such access is logged (who accessed which studio, when, and why), is technically prevented from making any changes, and expires automatically within minutes. We never access more than the support task requires.
You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. MusoSuite provides self-service tools in your account settings allowing you to export a complete copy of your data or permanently delete your account (Right to Erasure).
